My Crazy Little Girl

Aleana in her Cute new sun hat and glasses.  She actually likes to wear the hat I hope it last threw the summer.
This little girl loves her boots!
She also loves this owl statue that is on my neighbors back porch.
Aleana is a bit of a stinker, she is becoming a climber and thinks she needs to sit up on tables so she can get to things we don't want her to have.  She is very independent and stubborn, her favorite word is "NO".
Here is a picture of our friends Colby and Leslie Majors.  When have been friends since we were down in price. We have not spent much time with them in the last few years but we connected again these last few months.  They are off to Colorado for Colby to do Grad School.  We will miss them but hope all goes well for them.
She thinks it is funny to put her blanket over her head and walk around the house.Luckily it has holes in it.  She will pull it off and say "see you".  She learned it from her toy that says "peek-a-boo, I see you"
Aleana climbing up onto our entertainment center. She is busy.
Aleana wanted to be like Daddy! I love this cutie.

 This is my favorite!
We went to my Grandma Taylor's for Soup Night and Kathy and Cadie's Birthday. Brian has a new dog with sever separation issues so he brought him.  Aleana went with them on a walk.  She loved the dog. Sadly we think she is allergic to dogs worse then me.

Rock climbing on the rock behind my grandmas house with Debbie.
Ridding Archie.

Aleana is all over her sickness but she still has a cold or allergies.  Curt had a job interview today at the hospital in the Language Department, we will see if it is meant for us.

Debbie's Graduation, Birthmothers Day & Mothers Day

Debbie's Graduation!

My sister Debbie graduated from USU with her Bachelors degree in Health Education on Saturday May 3.  She now getting ready to go to Utah State to get a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.  I am so proud of my sister, she always seems to amaze me with her desire to get the most out of life and goes for it.
The Graduate!
Love this picture of us girls!
Aleana thought the hat was so cool that she wanted to wear it, she also thought her diploma looked good.  Aleana did pretty well considering someone was out side playing with her most of the graduation. Don't worry we all did see Debbie walk.

 The family!

Fun with Aleana

Aleana wants to be like mom and dad, she loves the computer.  Here she is trying to pug a cord into the computer like she see's us do.
She likes to do stamps and craft projects.  She calls the "amps".  She can use them all on her own.
She likes to pull all the blankets out of the cupboard. climb in and shut the door.  Here she is climbing out.  What a silly girl!

Birthmother's Day!

Saturday May 10th is Birthmother's Day so we went to see Jessica.  We took her a necklace that said "Love", a dozen red and yellow roses, a framed picture that said "I love you with all my heart" with Aleana's hand prints making a heart, as well as a few recent pictures. Jesica loved the gifts but she mostly just wanted to see Aleana. Aleana was shy at first but then she warmed up and actually played, Brooke and Jesica loved it!
Aleana with her half sister Brooke, birthmom Jesica,

Brooke is dark and Aleana is fair, but just look at those faces and you can tell they are related.

 blowing bubbles with Jesica!

Jesica was so happy that Aleana actually let her touch her and play with her.  She loves Aleana so much you can just tell it in her face.

What sweet sisters!

Earlier that day we went shopping and Curt had me pick out some flowers for Mothers Day.  When we got back from Jesica's Aleana helped Curt plant them for me.  I love my sweet little girl and wonderful husband.

 Mothers Day!

Curt stayed up on Saturday night to make these yummy cinnamon rolls. He is so sweet!
As well as the flowers I got a card from Aleana, she helped Curt pick it out.  It has a cat on the front and she meowed until he picked the right one. Also a card from Curt and this cute Willow Tress statue of a mom holding her young daughter on her lap to represent Aleana and myself.  I love
these statues.

My beautiful Mothers Day flowers.
  Aren't they pretty!

Me and my cutie
We got this chair for Aleana for our camping trip next month and she has loved, so we posed for pictures with Aleana in it.  I just love her and I am so grateful to be her mom!

My Crazy Girl!

So I don't where she got this from but she thinks it is funny to spill water on the table and slurp it up. She was also trying to blow bubbles.  I don't know where she gets some of these crazy ideas.

Poor Aleana caught the nasty little virus going around.  She has had a cough and runny nose for about two week and it just keeps getting worse.  Last night we gave her some medicine for a low fever. She woke up around 3:30 with a temperature of 103 and threw up a couple times. We striped her down and put cool cloths on her to get her fever down. She was almost asleep when she threw up all over the rocking chair.  She still had a temperature around 102, so we just stuck her in the bath. Since her chair was cover we took her down stairs and she watched Clifford or "uff, uff" for a few hours before falling back asleep.  She did not sleep long so we watched more Clifford. Her fever stayed high even on the medicine so we took her into the Dr but there was nothing they could do.  I guess we just have to wait it out and try to keep her temperature down the best we can,  after her nap it was up near 104 so we need to be really careful. Although she still wants to play so I guess she is not too miserable.  I hope she gets better soon.  She is sleeping now and I hope we have a better night.
