Monday April 14th
I put together an Easter Egg hunt for the neighborhood and some Aggie Village Friends. It turned out really well and the kids had a lot of fun. Aleana did try to escape a few times and cried when I brought her back, I think she gets overwhelmed easy with lots of people around. She did like finding the eggs and went straight for the candy.
Eating the candy with her friend Deanna
She loved playing on the neighbors slide and would sometimes just sit at the top when others wanted to go down.
Later that day our friends the Owens come over and we died Easter Eggs for FHE.
Aleana loved her purple Egg Daddy helped her die.
She helped put stickers on the egg.
(I don't know what is up with her hair in this pictures:)
Then she wanted to peeled it like she had seen mommy do. But she just peeled broke it apart and threw it at our friend Ben. She had a good aim too;)
Tuesday April 15th
She has decided that she likes peanut butter! And since there was not much left and this is her WIC peanut butter I just let her go to town.
Saturday April 19th
The Easter Bunny came on Friday Night. He laid a trail of Eggs that led to the Easter basket, which Aleana had fun following the trail. She was excited to see the basket on the table.
The presents are all hers but we will all share the candy.
She was excited about the crayons and chalk and we used both that morning.
She did not want to stop and allow me to get her dressed for the day.
We took her to the American West Heritage Center to see the baby Animals. She loved them and was very gentle petting the animals.
Her favorites where the baby goats she was chasing them around trying to pet them and making the "baa" sounds. It was so cute!
Petting a baby cow, she was a little nervous and only wanted to stay by the cow of a minute.
Nice shots of Aleana and her Daddy!
We were over by the pond seeing baby ducks going into the water for the first time, they were very water shy.
She loved the goats so much we had to go back a second time:)

In her pretty Easter Dress from Great Grandma and Grandpa Stauffer.
She did not want to pose for the picture.
I love this picture of Aleana and I!
She loved how fluffy her dress was.
She had another hard day in Nursery, she cried when I took her into the room so I hung out until she calmed down then I tried to leave but she was not happy so Curt and I went to Nursery with her again. She is super clingy and does not want to leave moms side. I hope she grows out of it soon.
After church we drove down to my Aunt Judy's for an Easter party.
Aleana had fun playing on the swing set.
I had Debbie help her with the Easter Egg hunt.
She loved finding the Eggs and would go straight for the candy!

It was a fun party. We also went back to my parents house for a Birthday Party for my brother Brian. Aleana still remembers getting scared with Brian at the zoo so she would not go near him and would come running to me when he would come near her. I felt bad for Brian because he love Aleana hopefully she will like him the next time she sees him.
Monday April 21st
We were all up late on Sunday night so Aleana and I have a lazy morning. I took her out for a walk about noon in her PJ's. She found the Dandelions, picked them and wanted them in her hair. She had it behind her ear while we played. I tried to get a picture but she took it out before I could get a picture, but I still thought these where cute!
Aleana has been trying to communicate with us more. There are times when she wants to go outside or watch TV she will point to the TV or stand in front of the door and say uh-hu. It is so cute. She understands so much and also knows just what to do to get us to do what she wants. She loves to stand on the kitchen chairs and will often try to climb on the table. She is a climber. She also is starting to walk up the stairs by using the wall. I can't believe she is growing up so fast.
