Happy Birthday Curt

It has been a crazy couple of months and i keep forgeting to take my camera with me so i have had no pictures to post. Curt and i are both going to school this semester, it is a little crazy but we are making the best of it. Monday Oct 13 was Curt's Birthday. We made cookies and opened some presents. I gave curt a planner, a fishing lure, Narnia, a sweater and I butten up shirt. Not the most exciting birthday but that is what happens when you birthday falls on a Monday. We also went up to his parents house on Saturday for an early Thanksgiving Dinner because it was when the whole family could get together (No pictures because i forgot my camera). We also had a little part for curt and he got more presents. It was fun and we saw family that we had not seen in over a year. Also on sunday we went to get together with some friends from price, it was good to see everyone again.

Weddings

I had some of my really good friends get married this summer. I have been friends with these guys since i was in elementary school

Here is Amber Livesey on here wedding day she looked so pretty and happy. Lanae is on the right of Amber and Felicia is next to her. I am happy for her.

Here is Lisa and her husband Jeff. I am so happy that she found someone, she seems so happy and in love. Jeff seem like a really great guy. They seem so happy to be married. Here is Curt and I with Jeff and Lisa and some of Jeff's really good friends.
Lisa is like my sister and i am so happy that she has found some one to spend the rest of her life with.

2. Who eats more? It depends on the meal, we can both eat a lot
3. Who said, "I love you" first? Curt did, it He said it one night after he dropped me off, i was already around the corner when he said it and it surprised me so i just kept walking
4. Who is taller? Curt by like 7'
5. Who is smarter? Curt likes to say that i am but when are smart in different areas, curt is smarter in English and I am smarter in math.
6. Who is more sensitive? I am not sure curt is a sensitive guy
7. Who does the laundry? we both do sometimes together sometimes separate
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do that is just were i have always slept
9. Who pays the bills? Curt does i do financial stuff
10. Who cooks more? We usually cook together but when it comes to meat curt cooks more.
11. Who is more stubborn? I am ,but i am quietly stubborn
12. Who is the first to admit they are wrong? I think curt does but we really have not gotten in little arguments.
13. Who has more siblings? Curt does he has 1 brother and 3 sisters, I have 2 brothers and 1 sister
14. Who wears the pants in the relationship?I guess i do because curt does not like to make discussion, but he is getting better.
15. What do you like to do together? Go see movies, fishing, hiking, walking, playing games and video games, cooking, watching TV
16. Who eats more sweets? Curt does, i like sweets but i don't eat them as fast or as often
17. Guilty Pleasures? Peanut butter, chocolate and ice cream
18. How did you meet? At CEU, we saw each other around campus, but the first time we met was at club rush. I had been going to swing club and curt had a club sign up for a club at the same table as swing club. I thought he was cute was cute so when I went over to sing up for swing club i hoped he would talk to me. He thought i was cute and got the nerve to invite me to sign up for his club.
19. Who asked whom out first? We had hung out and played racket together but curt asked me to a dance.
20. Who kissed who first? I kissed him first, I had been hoping he would kiss me for a while. So one night after we went snowmobiling he was dropping me off and we were hugging on the front porch and i finally just kissed him and of course he kissed me back and again shortly after.
21. Who proposed? Curt did no April 3, after conference. We went to conference with some friends who got engaged that same day. He was going to propose at the temple but it was to busy. On our way home he said that he wanted to show me something special and asked me if I like mountains or waterfalls better. I said mountains so he drove to the Mount Timpanogos temple. He covered my eyes and led me to the perfect view. He told me to look and i saw the temple glowing in front of the Mount Timpanogos mountains it was beautiful. Then curt knelt down and proposed.
22. His best features and qualities? I like his eyes and smile. I like that he can talk to pretty much every one and make them laugh. I like that he make me laugh and smile every day. He is willing to serve and do what he can to help others.

The best two year of our lives

Monday was our two year anniversary. We can't believe it has been two years already time really does fly when you are having fun. We are so glad that we took the opportunity to get married in the temple so that our love and marriage will last for eternity.

For our anniversary we took it easy and just enjoyed the day. We both had to work in the morning, but after that we went on a walk up the canyon. Later we went to dinner at chillies, played mini golf and watched a movie at home. Curt made white chocolate marshmallow fondue, it was really good but kind of runny. It was fun to just spend time together.

I bought curt two pairs of pants and a nice button up shirt for work. Curt gave me the statue "Promise" from the Willow Tree Collection. It was a great day and i am looking forward to many more great days

Pictures from our family Vacation

Yeah!! we have our pictures from our trip. We went a lot of places so there are a lot of pictures. Here I am with my mom and sister at Lake Tahoe. The lake was beautiful and reminded me a lot of Bear Lake. We went swimming and jumped the waves.(sorry no pictures). It took curt a while to decided he wanted to get in, but i think once he got in he had a lot of fun.

The above pictures is inspiration point. It is the only island on Lake Tahoe. We went on a couple hikes. Here we are on the top of a water fall. My dad was scared because he is afraid of heights and my brothers were climbing all over the edge.

This is the best picture I could get of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a really awesome bridge.

While in San Francisco we drove on Lombard Street the wind twistiest street in the US. I did not get a very good picture. We also saw the street where Princess Mia from Princess Diaries rolled down the hill into the trolley and the machine her grandma arm wrestles.

We went over to Fisherman's Wharf where Curt really liked all the ships and subs. For dinner that night we ate in China Town.
On our way to our hotel we stopped and waited in the ocean. My sister and brother went swimming but I thought it was to cold and late. We did get some really cool pictures though.

Friday and Saturday we went hiking around Yosemite National park. They had lots of pretty water falls and lakes. While hiking on Saturday we ran into a lot of smoke from a fire it was crazy it looking like the sun was setting a 5:oo at night.

These giant sequoia's were huge but really cool. We were accually able to climb into some of them.

We had a great time but i think we spent a little too much time in the car. We are waiting for Allen and Kathy to take their engagement pictures. For those of you who know my brother Allen he is getting Married in October.

We are Home

We had a blast but we are so glad to be home and get some sleep. I can't post pictures right now because I left my camera in the rental car and my parents saved it. So we i get it i will post pictures and tell you about our trip.

Before we left on our trip we had a big surprise. Saturday July 19th we got a call form the stake saying they wanted to met with us. We were a little nervous because we knew they were making lots of changes in our ward. So we get into the stake presidents office and the presidents tells Curt he would like to call him to be the 2nd councilor in the Bishopric. We were surprised but we knew it was were Curt needed to be and i get to join the whifes club. We just thought he had already had his turn. We know that if we follow the lord we will learn a lot, become closer to the lord and each other.

We are off to California

We are going to California for a family vacation with my (Christine) whole family. We are excited to get away from the stress and worries of life even though curt has to bring his Physiology and study for his final. We are going to Reno, Lake Tahoe, San Fransisco and a few other places. I hopefully will get to swim in the ocean for the first time. I will post pictures and update you on what has been going on the last couple of weeks when we get back.

Summer School

Curt is taking Physiology this summer. It takes a lot of time and when he is a home he spends a lot of time studying, although it is paying off. When he took it a couple semesters ago he did not do so well and he is already doing WAY Better. I am proud of him for working so hard (even though he would rather be playing) and doing so well. He is going to prove to Andy that he is Smart. I know that we are being blessed and that Curt is receiving help because he is working so hard and going to school like the lord has commanded. I don't know how we would get though school with out the lords help.

Family Reunion

We went up to Curt's parents house for a family reunion. On Friday night curt went on camping with his dad brother and nephew for fathers and sons. So the girls had a girls night out. We had smores and watched one of Jane Austins movies called Persuasion.

On Saturday I played at the park with the kids while curt was helping his dad put in a new door for fathers day.

That night we all played Crockett. Curt and I set up the course that was kind of like a mine golf course. We had it going all over the back yard and around obstacles. The end stick was up a ramp so you had to hit you ball though the two hoops, up the ramp and hit the stick. It was a funny game with the kids. Hanna stole curt club and was hitting the ball the through the hoops. It was fun to get away for a few days and spend time with family.

Trying New Recipes

Sometimes for date nights we try new recipies and they don't always work out perfectly. It is fun trying to cook in a small kitchen because their is not much counter space. We were trying to make a chicken pot pie and their was not enough room on the counter to roll out the dough so we had to bring it out on to the table. We had flour every where and then the dough did not even fit into the dish very well. Some of the cruts was really thick and other part were really thin. Yet it tasted really good so i guess that is all that matters.
Sometimes I am amazed at how brilliant i am. Today i was cooking dinner and i was making porcupines, which are meat balls with rice. I was not thinking and i browned the hamburger first so we could not make them into balls. So we fried it up and ended up making sloppypines instead of porcupines. I guess i need to read recipes more carefully.
