Disney World!!

We went to Disney World with my brother Allen and his wife Kathy for Curt's Graduation from Grad School and for our summer vacation.  We had so much fun, enjoy pictures and some of our favorite times from our trip!!

Magic Kingdom

We did not spend a lot of time here because it was so much like Disney Land.
I did really like the fire works, Monster Inc Laugh Floor, and Mickeys PhilharMagic.

EPCOT

 Morocco

I really enjoyed this place, great lamb and chicken Shawarma. I also bought a really pretty hand made beaded pillow case.

Japan

Beautiful area and cool Drum show

One of our favorite treats because it was hot there, Rainbow Japanese shaved ice

She was amazing at making caramel candy animals, made it look so easy!

 Yummy food from Norway

 China

Germany

 France

Mexico

We eat dinner for my sister in laws Birthday in Mexico by the light of the Mexican Pyramid
They also had a Three Caballeros ride.

EPCOT was having their Butterfly and Garden Festival
Such amazing gardens.

 Innovations Reflections of the World

Great fire works and the only show with a spinning globe that project pictures from around the world

Hollywood Studios

Live action Beauty and The Beast very fun to see!

Indiana Jones Live action Stunt Show

Curt's Graduation Dinner at the Brown Derby.
We had delicious food and a very funny waiter
We both ate flaminyon over mash potatoes with white truffle oil.
Yum!
I ate triple chocolate cheese cake so good I wish I could eat it right now!!

 Curt had a banana dessert

Fantasmic!!!

This was one of the things I was most excited to see and it was so worth seeing.

An amazing water and live action show about Disney Villains trying to take over Mickeys Dreams and the good and love from the Disney movies winning.  I Loved It!!

After our rain show.  They did a water show to "Drip drip drop little April showers"  and an amazing fire work show.  We loved it and were laughing the whole time.  A lot of other people where upset.  But I guess it was probably our third time seeing it and maybe there one and only.

We also loved the new Star tours ride and we rode it enough times to see all the different scenes, the Rock' in Roller Coaster (a roller coaster set to Arrow Smith music, amazing) and Toy Story Mania virtual shooting game (Curt beat me).

Animal Kingdom

Festival of the Lion King

A fun to watch African Festival based on the Lion King;
With tumble monkeys, amazing singers and dancers.
It was one of my favorite things we did while in Disney Land.

There were lots of fun Animals to walk around and see, also there was cool Safari Ride where most of the animals were roaming free.  It was neat to see the animals in their natural habituates.

Some of the best food we eat was at a restaurant called the Yak and Yettie,  I ate orange Honey Glazed Salmon and Curt had sea food curry.  I would go back there to eat!

This was one of our favorite rides, it is a wild roller coaster with a Yettie and you go backward in the dark.  The line was also cool it was a little museum about the Yettie.

We had so much fun and hope we can go back some day. Curt did get a little sick and we were all dead tired by the end but it was all worth it!

Here is Curt with his Mom and Dad after the graduation, they are very proud of him.

Do you like Curt's sweet Harry Potter Robe?

We had a little Luncheon after the graduation for family and a few close friends.

How do you like my cute Graduation Cup Cakes?! They were a big hit and we took the left overs to other friends who graduated.

Yeah Curt is done and now we get to go to Disney World!!

Spring Fun

American West Heritage Center

We went to Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center, with our friends the Kjars.
We got to see baby goats, sheep, pigs and cows. My favorite were the chicks, ducklings and bunnies.  The kids also got to ride horses.

Easter

Even though we don't have any kids we still love Easter we died eggs and I even had an egg hunt for Curt.  You have to act like a kids sometimes or life would get boring.

Spring Break

During Curt's spring break we went to the Willow Park Zoo.  We love our little Logan Zoo.

Baking

Here is a yummy Sweet Potato Pie that we made for movie night with our friends.  It may sound gross but it tastes a lot like pumpkin pie.

This is a yummy valentines treat that we made, and on the inside there is strawberries and fudge as well.  It was so good!!

I know it is kind of random, but it was my first homemade stew! I think it turned out well.

Aggie Game

We love the Aggies and enjoy the games but since Curt started grad school we have not been to any.  So we made sure we went to the final one and we are glad we did because it was a great game. We forgot what we had been missing out on.

Summer Projects

Since I did not work this summer I had a list of projects I wanted to complete, but things never go as planned. I did finish finish a few so I wanted to show them off. Here is a cute party skirt that took most of the summer to make. However it turned out way cute and worth all the hard work.

These are my new hall way decorations. I covered wooden frames with scrape book paper and printed the words. I also put a piece of sheet metal in a frame so that I could put pictures on it and be able to change them when ever I want.

Last but not least I made this super cute jewelry hanger that matches my bead spread to hand all my Homemade jewelry on.
My apartment is looking really cute with all my home made decorations, and hopefully there will be more to come thanks to my silhoutte.
