Happy Father's Day to A wonderful Father and Husband we love you very much!!
Aleana is a very lucky girl to have a Daddy that loves her so much.
He loves to help take care of her, he even changes diapers, feeds her and help put her to bed.
He Also loves to play we her and taker her on walks any chance he gets.
I think she kind of likes him too :)
To celebrate Fathers Day I made German Pancakes with Raspberries for Curt and I for Breakfast, on Saturday Morning (we have 9:00 church so I did not want to wake up any earlier then necessary). On Sunday we made Salmon for dinner. We also played at home, took a nap, and went on a walk. For Curt's Fathers Day presents I had my friend take a few pictures of Aleana and I framed them.
Aleana got this new shirt for Fathers Day!
This picture Curt took to work and put it on his desk. So now when ever he is having a bad day he can look at Aleana's smiling face and it will cheer him right up!!
This one we are going to Hang up on the wall at home. Curt loved his dad pictures, it made a great First Father's Gift!
I Also helped Aleana make this Father's Day Card. I Love how good the feet prints turned out.
Fathers Day Fun!
On Saturday my parents, my sister, and my brother and his family come up to visit and go to Logan's Summerfest. Here are a few Cute pictures we took for Fathers Day.

Other fun things in our life
Aleana is learning to get into more things, she loves to pull the books and movies off the shelf. She also loves to pull everything out of the diaper bag and grabs for anything with in reach.
Yesterday when I went to get her up from her nap she was sitting up in her pack and play. Before then she has not been able to go from laying down to sitting very well. So we had to move the mattress down so that she did not pull her self up and fall out of the crib. Every time I have gone into get her today she has been sitting up, what a fun new skill. She is also getting really close to pulling her self up to the coffee table and other objects. I think she may walk before she really figures out how crawl. She right now will get on to her knees and walk her hands forward and then fall on her tommy and roll. She will also push up unto her hands and tip toes. It is fun to watch her try to figure new skills.
Aleana is getting so independent she is not a fan of being spoon feed, she is a finger food girl. If we are lucky we will get her to eat 3 or 4 bits of baby food when we sit down to feed her. She love cheerios, puffs, and recently decided she loves banana bread. I gave her regular bread before and she throw it up both times. We have tried some fresh fruit, she made really funny sour face when she tried raspberries, she spits out pears and peaches, and at strawberries but made a funny face. I need to try some veggies with her, she seemed to like the veggie baby food better.
Here is just a random picture of her after a Sunday nap last Sunday, I just thought her little Mohawk was awesome!
Not so fun things
Last Thursday June 6th Aleana started getting a runny nose and cough and by Friday night she had a fever in the low 100's. Here fever stayed and her cough and runny nose got worse through the weekend and she was getting really fussy. On Monday morning June 10th we took Aleana to the doctor to find out she had an ear infection in each ear (she had an ear infection in her left ear in the middle of April). The doctor gave her amoxicillin again and we started doing the twice a day medicine again. Then yesterday morning I noticed some bumps on her legs and through out the day they spread to her stomach back and arms (especially her arm pits). I did not even think until I got a hold of my mom about 8:00 that night that she was having an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin. We were up until 10:30 that night getting Benadryl and calling friends and on call doctors to find out the dosage. Today I gave her baby Claritin thinking that if I only had to give her medicine once that day and have her not sleep all day would be nice. But it did not help that much with the hives. At least they don't seem to be bugging her. So I am trying to decide if I should just give her Benadryl tomorrow or try the baby Zyrtec. It is never fun when Aleana get sick, but I am glad there is medicine and doctors to help.
Aleana and very rough when she is overly tired, she pulls my hair and tears it out and is a little vampire and bits my neck. Today she almost broke the skin. I am not sure how to teach a baby not to bit. If she would not fit naps or if I stuck to her schedule better maybe she would not get so over tired. Although even when she is happy and excited she will pull my hair and sometimes bits when she is giving kiss. Oh the joys and challenges of kids and I bet it doesn't get too much easier. I love her to pieces anyways!! :)
