Christmas with Aleana's Birthmom!

On Christmas in the Evening after coming back from visiting my family we went over to visit Jesica Aleana's Birthmom and her half sister Brooke. Poor a Aleana was so tired from a long day but she did pretty well.  Until She went into Brooke's room a took out a piece of a broken necklace strand.  Brooke did not want her to have it and tired to take it back and they both ended up crying that is when we new it was time to go.  It was nice to be able to spend some time with them on Christmas.
Here is Aleana with her half sister Brooke, this is the best picture I could get. They did play together a little bit and Brooke did give Aleana a hug but they were all fuzzy.  I am glad she is a part of Aleana's life and I hope that they grow up to be good friends!
Here is Aleana with Brooke and her Birthmom Jesica. I think Aleana will enjoy having this picture when she gets older.  Aleana also made Jesica cry but in a good way.  We told Aleana to go give Jesica a hug and Jesica held out her arms to her and Aleana walked right over to her and gave her a big hug.  Jesica said it was the highlight of her Christmas.

Aleana got the puzzle she is playing with from Jesica and some Dora PJ's from Jeremy's mom Grandma Qualls.  We gave Jesica some Dr. Pepper, Recesses Trees, and some warm socks and we gave Brooke a Chocolate Penguin and a Dora hair ribbon. We love them all and hope they will always be a part of our lives.

Stauffer Christmas!

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my Family.

Christmas Eve

We had a nice Lasagna dinner and read the Christmas story. Then we opened sibling and cousin presents.

Here I am with Aleana on Christmas Eve and she is snuggling with her Pooh Bear from Cousin Layla. We gave Layla some head bands that I made and some teething tablets.
Aleana opening her pop gun from Brian and Cadie.

and here is her dog that walks when your pull it behind you

Aleana with Grandpa Stauffer
Aleana and Layla opening/playing with the magna-doole also from Uncle Brian and Aunt Cadie. She also got a poky light up ball and a hanging bag to store bath toys in (sadly it does not suction to the shower wall very well).  Aleana and Layla got spoiled by their Aunt and Uncle this will probably be their biggest Christmas luckily neither of them will really remember it.
Layla enjoying her Christmas Bells, what a cutie.

Christmas Morning

Aleana and I on Christmas morning.  Sadly she is not wearing her Christmas pj's because as part of her crazy and sleepless night we had to change her out of them because she soaked right through them. Poor Curt ended up sleeping with her up in the chair and we did not start Christmas until about 9:30 when Aleana woke up and Curt brought her down to wake me up :).  Aleana got a toddler tea set that plays music and makes sound from grandma and a purse with a play cell phone, mirror, keys, lip stick, wallet, and debit card from Debbie. I am glad there where not too many presents because after the previous night she was a bit overwhelmed and even that morning she just wanted to go play in Debbie's room and stay away from the Christmas Craziness.
Here is Aleana all ready to go play out side.  She enjoyed going over with Debbie and Grandpa to see the neighbors dog and also enjoyed playing in the snow with her Aunt Debbie.  They even taught her to throw a snowball at Grandma:)

They sure do like each other!
After Breakfast and playing we went to go visit Grandma Taylor.  Aleana fell asleep in the car and Curt sat out with her most of the time, but we finally woke her up so that Grandma could see her.  She was so wiped out from all the Christmas fun.  It was nice to have a few relaxing days to just chill at home after Christmas, too bad Dad could not stay home with us as well.

Snelgrove Christmas!

Saturday after we finished our Christmas Celebration we head to see Curt's Grandma Pete.  Then we headed up to Francis to spend some time with his family.
Aleana with her Great Grandma Pete!

Christmas Sunday

Here we are on Sunday Morning in our Christmas closes.
Grandma is the choir director and the choir sang in Church.
They did a wonderful job!
After church we had a mini Christmas.
Aleana got a hat and gloves that Grandma made for her.
Aleana and Grandpa Snelgrove

We gave Grandpa a book called "Saints at War" which shortly after he began to read.

Aleana with Grandma Snelgrove

Playing in the Snow

We gave grandma a book about where the primary songs came from, she loves music so we knew she would love it and she did!  We gave Julee "Peter Pan" and a Scarf.  She was excited about both. It was a nice short and sweet Christmas.

On Monday Morning before we headed down to see Grandma Snellie, Julee took Aleana out to see the dogs and play in the snow.  She loved it and did not want to come back in.  Although it did make her nose run and her cough came back, poor little girl.
We had a great time and were really glad Julee could come up and spend some time with us as well.

Our Christmas Celebration!

We had some Christmas fun before we left to visit family for Christmas
Aleana loves the snow.
We will have to pull out the snow boots and hand-me-down snow suit to keep her dry and warm

Our Christmas Eve

Sneaking gifts and trying to open,
luckily it is her gift from her friend Kaylee, which was the "Little Mermaid"
She deiced that playing in the Laundry basket is the best thing.
She also loves to be pushed around.
We opened presents from Grandparents and great Grandparents on the evening of Dec. 20th our Christmas Eve.  Here is a photo album with a few pictures in it from Grandma Pete.
Excited about her shirt from Aunt Maegan and uncle Brandon.
Unwrapping presents is a serious job.
She loves to open presents and got really good at it.

Aleana was excited about her squishy Ball from her great Grandma Pete.  She also got bubble bath, and socks from Grandma and Grandpa Snelgrove, a 5 dollar gift card to McDonald's from from Grandma Snellie and a bath scrubby bee from grandma Pete.
After presents and putting Aleana to bed Curt and I eat manicotti  and watched Polar Express.

Our Christmas Morning

On Saturday Dec. 21 we opened up the presents from each other.
She was really tired so we just put her to bed in her clothes, hence the same outfit.

I wish I would have had a video camera for when we came down the stairs she was so excited she just walked right over to her broom.  She played with it for a while before she was ready to open up her stocking.  She does love her broom but she still prefers mine:)

Aleana with her stocking,  stickers, Cheese-it's, Mum mums, yogurt bites (which we opened up for her and she ate half the bag before we got her breakfast), and a purple noise maker.  She has loved the stickers and the noise maker.

Daddy with his drummel tool attachments and duck dynasty duck tape.  He also got new work pants and the book "Enders Shadow".

Aleana in her cute fuzzy white slippers with a pretty bow in the back.  She also got a princess calendar for her room, a sweater dress, a "sense and sensibility" board book and snow boots.
Curt got me lavender linen spray.  It really helps me relax and sleep so good. He also got me driving gloves that I can use my tablet with, a book called "Divergent" which I am really enjoying, and a scarf.

It was a fun Christmas and Aleana was so much fun she really loves Christmas, who knew having a child at Christmas was so much fun!

She love the Christmas Tree and the toys underneath!
 What an Angel!
 My little Cutie!

Decorating the tree

Helping mommy put on the ornaments on Saturday December 14th.  We are slow this year but we were not sure how Aleana would do so we only put ornaments on half the tree and it has worked great.  Although she does try to reach them from the couch but can't quite get them.

Our busy little girl!

Helping Daddy with the Laundry. She love to help unload and load the drier.
Play with Daddy on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
Eating her goldfish after she spilled  them all over the floor.  What a silly little girl!

Thanksgiving and Debbie's Birthday

I know I am a bit late but if figured I should at least get this posted before Christmas.

Thanksgiving

We went up to Curt's parent's for Thanksgiving.  We had a house full; Maegen and Brandon came and so did Ryan and Lisa and all their kids.  Tiff stayed down in New Mexico with Tyler and his family.
Here is Aleana playing in Grandma's play dough cutter drawer while everyone was trying to get ready for dinner.
Pictures of everyone at the nice long table.

Curt and I with Aleana on her Second Thanksgiving.
She actually got to eat the food this year
Her Shirt say "Everyone is Thankful for ME!"  and we all are.
Aleana and Maryanna loved the little rocking chair.
We may need to have Grandpa make Aleana one.
 Aleana and Hannah!

 Fun at the park

Burning a few of the dinner calories so we can have pie!
 Aleana loves Fred!

Did not like this like I thought she might after the rocking chairs, maybe I rocked to fast.
They all don't balance out Curt :)
 Daddy going down the side.
Aleana also liked the slide when Becca and I took her down.

Family Fun

Aleana loved playing with her Aunt's uncles and cousins
 Aleana and Hannah

 Aleana and Emmy
What cute cousins!
Emmy and I in our matching shirts.
It was fun to be with family for Thanksgiving and to play with the nieces and nephew.

Debbie's Birthday

The Saturday Evening after Thanksgiving we headed down from Curt's parents to my parents so we could be there on Sunday for Debbie's Party.
Aleana and Grandpa enjoying the Christmas Tree.
  Aleana love the lights!

Family pictures

Here are some cute family pictures Debbie took of us after church.

Debbie and her little best friend.
I will miss having Debbie in Logan and I think Aleana will too!

Cutie

Reading books in Debbie's fuzzy chair.
I think it needs to be fixed.

Debbie's Party

Debbie with her "Little Debbie" Birthday Cake.
She is now 24 she is getting so grown up and hoping to go to grad school!
Aleana kind of thinks that Debbie's present is her's but I guess she did pick it out.

A few random pictures and Info on Aleana!

Aleana's first pony tail.  Although it only lasted about 20 mins and I have not tried another since.  I will try int again sometime soon.
My happy little girl eating pea's and her favorite, banana's!

She will eat most any thing now which is nice we are still working on meat and some veggies but for the most part she is a pretty good eater.  Also she has learned "done" and makes sure we know she is done :).

She got really sick after Brian's wedding and the stinking cough and runny nose held on for about 3 weeks so I took her in and they gave her an antibiotic and she is finally all better, no more coughing all night.  She is running around my house and going up and down stairs.  Although she goes down on her bum but what ever works for her.
She weighed about 23lbs when I took her to the doctor's office.  She has two molars that are mostly grown in on the bottom and the top two are cutting through. Also her gums where her canine's will be are all swollen so I think they will be close behind.
She is getting so crazy at church we have to take turns with her during Priesthood and relief society so that we can at least get a good lesson every other week. She makes it fun,  I think she will love nursery in a few months as long as she dose not get stranger danger.  I think it will be a little sad but we will love it too!
