We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my Family.
Christmas Eve
We had a nice Lasagna dinner and read the Christmas story. Then we opened sibling and cousin presents.
Here I am with Aleana on Christmas Eve and she is snuggling with her Pooh Bear from Cousin Layla. We gave Layla some head bands that I made and some teething tablets.
Aleana opening her pop gun from Brian and Cadie.
and here is her dog that walks when your pull it behind you
Aleana with Grandpa Stauffer
Aleana and Layla opening/playing with the magna-doole also from Uncle Brian and Aunt Cadie. She also got a poky light up ball and a hanging bag to store bath toys in (sadly it does not suction to the shower wall very well). Aleana and Layla got spoiled by their Aunt and Uncle this will probably be their biggest Christmas luckily neither of them will really remember it.
Layla enjoying her Christmas Bells, what a cutie.
Christmas Morning
Aleana and I on Christmas morning. Sadly she is not wearing her Christmas pj's because as part of her crazy and sleepless night we had to change her out of them because she soaked right through them. Poor Curt ended up sleeping with her up in the chair and we did not start Christmas until about 9:30 when Aleana woke up and Curt brought her down to wake me up :). Aleana got a toddler tea set that plays music and makes sound from grandma and a purse with a play cell phone, mirror, keys, lip stick, wallet, and debit card from Debbie. I am glad there where not too many presents because after the previous night she was a bit overwhelmed and even that morning she just wanted to go play in Debbie's room and stay away from the Christmas Craziness.
Here is Aleana all ready to go play out side. She enjoyed going over with Debbie and Grandpa to see the neighbors dog and also enjoyed playing in the snow with her Aunt Debbie. They even taught her to throw a snowball at Grandma:)
They sure do like each other!
After Breakfast and playing we went to go visit Grandma Taylor. Aleana fell asleep in the car and Curt sat out with her most of the time, but we finally woke her up so that Grandma could see her. She was so wiped out from all the Christmas fun. It was nice to have a few relaxing days to just chill at home after Christmas, too bad Dad could not stay home with us as well.
