Summer fun!

 Sunday July 6th

Her hair was all cute and she was dressed for church so I asked if I could get a picture so she ran to get her crown and put it on.

  Monday July 7th

I was trying to get a picture of her with the stethoscope in her ears so that if she became a nurse we could show her she liked it as a child too, but she pulled it out too quick. Although, I still like this picture.
Rocking the big glasses!
Trying to put her glasses on her head while still wearing her hat :)
Cute pictures I took out back

We babysat Kason and Ryker all afternoon. We played out in the backyard and in the sandbox
We also watched a movie to see if we could get them to take a nap. They did not relax until Ryker was chasing a ball and ran his head into the wall.  Poor little boy cried, wore himself out and fell asleep.  Then I was able to get Kason asleep and finally Aleana asleep. Too bad it was 4:30 in the afternoon.  All the kids were so tired.

 Friday July 11th

We went out to play in a sprinkler our friend Steve made but it was not working very well so I let Aleana play with the hose.  She loved spraying the water.  She even laughed when she sprayed herself in the face:)
Spraying herself
She thought it was really funny to spray me!

 Friday July 18th

Being Cute in her cute suit we got at the side walk sale for 3 dollars waiting to go to swimming lessons. After swimming lessons we played out in the sprinklers and hose again.
What a beautiful little girl!
And so full of spunk

 Saturday July 19th

Eating her breakfast while kicking back in here car.
Wearing mommies hat and brushing her teeth.
Riding on daddies shoulders at the willow park zoo.

She loves the Zoo! We were getting ready to run some places and Aleana said "oow oow! amp!"  Which means I want to go to the zoo to see the monkeys and get a stamp.  Since we get in free with our Zoo pass we decided to take her.
She looks so grown up
This little cutie loves the reindeer and loves to feed them
Waiting for Daddy to get the food
She wants to feed the reindeer all by herself with out any help.

With Daddy
With Mommy!
That evening Ryker, Sheena and Kason came over to play and we had pizza for dinner
Ryker and Aleana were wet and covered in sand.

She likes to sit in and ride even though she barley fits
These to are so cute together!

 Sunday July 20th

Aleana got her self dressed for church.
trying to help Daddy put on his socks.

Aleana is growing up so fast.  She has created her own full sentence on her own.  She will come up to me and say. "I wana go outside."   I can't believe how fast she picks things up.   Speaking of learning fast Aleana has figured out the locks on the front and back door. On the backdoor she can lock the dead bolt and on the front door she can turn the lock to lock the door.  While playing out back she will run in and try to lock the door but I catch her to fast, but this morning we went out front and Aleana went back inside and I went to go inside and she had locked the door.  I think she was trying to let me in but could not unlock it and started to get sad,  luckily Curt was inside because the backdoor was locked too.  I guess I can not leave the house ever with out my keys.  Also she went to half of nursery all by herself and only cried for a couple minutes:)

Aleana had an crazy couple week.  Aleana got stung or bit by some insect on Tuesday July 8 and the bumps on her ankle were hard, her ankle swelled up and turned purple.  I tried put ice and ointments on it but it stayed swollen all day.  My Dad mentioned to put a baking soda past on it and drew out what was in the bumps and medicine brought down the swelling, but her ankle looked purple for about a week after.  That night her nose started to run and she began to cough.  The next day I noticed a fever. We gave her medicine and the fever only lasted a couple days, although the runny nose and cough stayed. On Monday July 14 (also the 2 year anniversary of when we found out about Aleana) Aleana woke up and was just crying and crying.  I thought it was because of our late nights, but then she started pointing at her ear and saying ouch.    We got her into the Dr and sure enough she had an ear infection. Poor little thing.  On a good note she liked the medicine and did not mind taking it, also I think it is all cleared up we just have to finish out the medicine.  So I don't know if the bit led to the ear infection or if it was just coincidence.

We have been doing swim lessons at the aquatic center this past week and most of the time she enjoys them and other times she just cries.  She has been learning a lot.  I hope that we will enjoy this next week, going each morning is a bit much for both of us but we have been enjoying the time together.  Just 4 more days.

Language Development!

It is so fun to see Aleana grow and develop. I heard Aleana say her first prayer with Daddy's help and her first sentence all by herself today. She said "Mom can I be excused". Some small sentence she says are "more milk", "I want cheese" and other small sentences like that.  It is amazing how fast they learn.

4th of July

We normal go down to Farmington for a family picnic but since we had been out of town almost every weekend we decided to stay in Logan.  We went to the Hyrum Parade with our friends Jordan, Jordan and Emery.  Aleana liked the horses, candy, string cheese, and princesses but was scared of the fire trucks. It was a long hot parade so she crashed when we got home.  Luckily they handed out water and sprayed you or we may not have stayed for the whole parade.

That evening we had the friends we went to the Parade with and Sheena Ryker and Kason over for a little BBQ.
The kids had fun playing but kept running inside so when I went in to fill up with water pitcher I locked the door.  Aleana started blowing on the window and saying "bye bye" so her friends join in and I had to get a pictures.

Chilling after dinner even though none of them really ate. They were pretending to take pictures.
Aleana and Ryker.
I don't know if this is her first crush or if she is just tired. She does copy everything he does and love to play with him. I am going to have to keep my eye on this girl when she get older especially since she already likes older boys, she is 21 months and he is 3 :)  But it is sure a cute picture of these two little friends.

Off to see the geese!

Posing with the tongue out :)
Just hang out with daddy!

It was a fun day.  We were lazy and put Aleana to bed both nights and just watched fire works from our back porch.  Today we are just taking it easy and enjoying our Saturday.

Car!

Our Car is fixed and home. It was not cheep but it was able to be fixed by replacing the timing belt and a few other small part and not the whole car.  I had Jeremy, Jesica's boyfriend help me get it home.  I had been trying people around the neighborhood but they were either busy at the time or not home.  I just thought I would see if Jesica was home and wanted to see Aleana.  I did not realize that Jesica's second number was Jeremy's.  He was just leaving for a lunch break and came and helped me.  He is a great guy.

I am grateful for my mom for letting me borrow her car it was nice not to be stranded :)

21 months old!

Where has the time gone, before I know it my baby is going to be two!
I told her to smile for the picture and this is what I got I think she was doing "if your have and you know it then your face will surly show it".  She pushes on her cheeks when I point to my smile.
We baby sat her friend Ryker that morning and I had to get pictures of their little tea party.

Even little brother wanted to join in on the fun.

Aleana loves little Kason and always gives him his binki and plays with him.  She also likes to try and feed him.  She was sad that he fell asleep because she wanted to play more.

I was trying to get a couple 21 month pictures for Jesica but she did not want to smile at the camera and was very interested in the white board.  I let her color on it after we were done.  I think the pictures are still cute and Jesica will love them.

She has grown up so much; she climbs in and out of chairs, on and off the couch, she walks up and down the stairs with help of our hand, the wall or railing,  can reach stuff of the counter and the table and she is talking like crazy.  Some of her new words are outside, inside, butterfly, excuse me, salsa (and she always yells it with a bit of attitude) right back, show, poop, bye bye see ya, stairs, milk, amen, and a lot more.

She is stating to get interested in toilets.  She likes to throw toilet paper in the toilet and climb on the toilet.  Sometimes she will sometimes wipe her own bum when I am changing her diaper. I think she it get close to being potty trained. She still sleeps in her crib but if she tries to climb out when will be turning it into a toddler bed.

She loves the movies Frozen, Cars, but especially Nemo.  When ever she sees a clown fish she says Nemo and she asks to watch Nemo all the time.  We may have her 2 year old birthday part Nemo themed.  She still loves to go on walks, feed the ducks and play outside.  She also loves keys, when ever we pull them out she asks for them and loves to unlock any lock. She also loves beeps beeps(cars), buses and ch-oo ch-oo's (trains).  When she see a picture of a Train or hears a train moves her hands and says ch-oo ch-oo and will pull her arm down and say toot toot.  Another thing see loves is buckles.  She used to say buck but now she can say buckle.  She loves to buckle any buckle, car seat, high chair, stroller and shopping cart and will get mad if we try to help.  She loves to be with mommy and will grab my hand and pull me along and say "mon" (come on) it is so cute.  Although it make leaving her in nursery and with baby sitters kind of hard.  She has been doing better in nursery and kind of stays.  She stayed a couple of weeks ago just fine but we have new leaders so she is getting used to them.  Last week they brought her to me crying and they she stayed but was not happy the rest of the time hopefully things will just get better.

She is full of spunk and energy. She loves to tease us and keeps us on our toes.

Just a few fun pictures we took while playing in the hall

Big smile!

Crazy face

Sweet little girl

We were coming home from a walk earlier in the week and Ryker had left some toys out and Aleana decided she needed to borrow his John Deer 4 wheeler.  She played with it for a while and loved that it talked and made noise.  Her aunt Tiff would be proud.  We did take it back later that night.
