Summer fun!

 Sunday July 6th

Her hair was all cute and she was dressed for church so I asked if I could get a picture so she ran to get her crown and put it on.

  Monday July 7th

I was trying to get a picture of her with the stethoscope in her ears so that if she became a nurse we could show her she liked it as a child too, but she pulled it out too quick. Although, I still like this picture.
Rocking the big glasses!
Trying to put her glasses on her head while still wearing her hat :)
Cute pictures I took out back

We babysat Kason and Ryker all afternoon. We played out in the backyard and in the sandbox
We also watched a movie to see if we could get them to take a nap. They did not relax until Ryker was chasing a ball and ran his head into the wall.  Poor little boy cried, wore himself out and fell asleep.  Then I was able to get Kason asleep and finally Aleana asleep. Too bad it was 4:30 in the afternoon.  All the kids were so tired.

 Friday July 11th

We went out to play in a sprinkler our friend Steve made but it was not working very well so I let Aleana play with the hose.  She loved spraying the water.  She even laughed when she sprayed herself in the face:)
Spraying herself
She thought it was really funny to spray me!

 Friday July 18th

Being Cute in her cute suit we got at the side walk sale for 3 dollars waiting to go to swimming lessons. After swimming lessons we played out in the sprinklers and hose again.
What a beautiful little girl!
And so full of spunk

 Saturday July 19th

Eating her breakfast while kicking back in here car.
Wearing mommies hat and brushing her teeth.
Riding on daddies shoulders at the willow park zoo.

She loves the Zoo! We were getting ready to run some places and Aleana said "oow oow! amp!"  Which means I want to go to the zoo to see the monkeys and get a stamp.  Since we get in free with our Zoo pass we decided to take her.
She looks so grown up
This little cutie loves the reindeer and loves to feed them
Waiting for Daddy to get the food
She wants to feed the reindeer all by herself with out any help.

With Daddy
With Mommy!
That evening Ryker, Sheena and Kason came over to play and we had pizza for dinner
Ryker and Aleana were wet and covered in sand.

She likes to sit in and ride even though she barley fits
These to are so cute together!

 Sunday July 20th

Aleana got her self dressed for church.
trying to help Daddy put on his socks.

Aleana is growing up so fast.  She has created her own full sentence on her own.  She will come up to me and say. "I wana go outside."   I can't believe how fast she picks things up.   Speaking of learning fast Aleana has figured out the locks on the front and back door. On the backdoor she can lock the dead bolt and on the front door she can turn the lock to lock the door.  While playing out back she will run in and try to lock the door but I catch her to fast, but this morning we went out front and Aleana went back inside and I went to go inside and she had locked the door.  I think she was trying to let me in but could not unlock it and started to get sad,  luckily Curt was inside because the backdoor was locked too.  I guess I can not leave the house ever with out my keys.  Also she went to half of nursery all by herself and only cried for a couple minutes:)

Aleana had an crazy couple week.  Aleana got stung or bit by some insect on Tuesday July 8 and the bumps on her ankle were hard, her ankle swelled up and turned purple.  I tried put ice and ointments on it but it stayed swollen all day.  My Dad mentioned to put a baking soda past on it and drew out what was in the bumps and medicine brought down the swelling, but her ankle looked purple for about a week after.  That night her nose started to run and she began to cough.  The next day I noticed a fever. We gave her medicine and the fever only lasted a couple days, although the runny nose and cough stayed. On Monday July 14 (also the 2 year anniversary of when we found out about Aleana) Aleana woke up and was just crying and crying.  I thought it was because of our late nights, but then she started pointing at her ear and saying ouch.    We got her into the Dr and sure enough she had an ear infection. Poor little thing.  On a good note she liked the medicine and did not mind taking it, also I think it is all cleared up we just have to finish out the medicine.  So I don't know if the bit led to the ear infection or if it was just coincidence.

We have been doing swim lessons at the aquatic center this past week and most of the time she enjoys them and other times she just cries.  She has been learning a lot.  I hope that we will enjoy this next week, going each morning is a bit much for both of us but we have been enjoying the time together.  Just 4 more days.
